Maryland Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO) has awarded a contract to Riparius for indoor air quality improvements at Millennium Hall, an existing dormitory located on Towson University’s campus. The project involves the construction, coordination and installation of improvements to the building’s HVAC and associated systems in order to improve indoor air quality through the increased introduction and dispersal of treated outside air. The scope of work includes cut, cap and removal of existing fan coils, as well as the furnishing and installation of two new HVAC units, associated ductwork, controls, gas piping, electrical, fire alarm, related structural modifications, drywall and acoustical. Civil work includes concrete and masonry enclosures to support the new units.
