Baltimore, MD
Contract: $3.7 Million
Riparius Construction created major upgrades to the athletic facilities for Gilman School, a private preparatory K-12 school for boys in the Roland Park neighborhood of Baltimore. For Phase I, the existing bleachers were partially demolished, the seating area was extended, and new concrete steps and aluminum seating were installed.
Phase II included a new artificial turf field, and renovation of two existing grass athletic fields, with new irrigation systems. New dugout structures including restrooms were built for the Home and Visitor teams. Two new batting cages, scoreboards, and a concession stand were part of the project, along with fencing, landscaping, site lighting, sidewalks, and asphalt pathways.
Riparius supervised all construction activities on an active campus while school was in session, ensuring the safety of all students, staff, and visitors.
